A New Sourdough Bakery Opens Up In Singapore
It was an honour to visit one of my inspirational good friends, Chun Rong, latest bakery concept, Sourbombe Artisanal Bakery, during their soft launch. He opened this bakery concept with talented Singapore Masterchef Finalist, Genevieve Lee.
I have known this friend of mine for quite awhile, and I always left inspired by his ability to turn his dreams into reality, one step at a time - including this latest instalment, located right at the newly refurbished mall, 9 Penang Road.
This bakery is unique in a sense that their hero product is their Sourdough Bomboloni, followed by which all of their other seasonal unique bakes are also made using sourdough as the primary ingredient. One of my highlights would have to be their Basque Burnt Cheesecake Bomboloni, with Blue Cheese used to make the filling!
Aside from that, I was also left rather impressed with their drinks selection, especially their Black Sesame Hojicha as well as their Soy Caramel Matcha - both being the only two drinks that we have tried during their soft launch.
